... and if your income fell to zero ?
How will you cope if your income drops to zero (even for a short time) ?

Illness, redundancy or accident can all too easily adversely affect your ongoing income.

Most people would be surprised to learn how limited both their employment cover and State Benefit is in such circumstances and how long their savings/credit lines would last if they were unlucky enough to be affected.

There are a wide number of options covering the area of Income
Protection in one form or another, including Critical Illness or Family Income benefit, as it is referred to when providing monthly income rather than lump sum benefits.

The traditional Accident, Sickness and Unemployment (ASU) cover can be contracted either in total or part and even from separate insurers and/or combined with life cover.

The skill to selecting the correct combination of the covers available is in the careful matching of your particular circumstances, in particular your employment type and contract, to the most suitable providers and this is what I, as an adviser, do for you.

Some forms of Income Protection are also available (and probably crucial as the inability to work can bring income to a rapid stop) to the self-employed BUT care has to be taken in establishing the correct cover.

It is important to ensure that cover, for all types of insurance including Income Protection, is reviewed regularly to ensure continuing match to your overall circumstances and we regularly review cover with our long term clients to maintain the best suited cover structure - even if you already have cover we are always pleased to review this for you, without cost of commitment, to ensure that your arrangements are appropriate.
